A word on riding etiquette

Whether riding alone or with a group, in town or on the open road, be aware of your surroundings. You are operating a vehicle - do so responsibly. Alert your fellow riders of approaching traffic by calling out "car back" or "car up" and then ride as far to the right as is safe and in a single file line, to let traffic pass. Follow the rules of the road, ride predictably and use proper hand signals. Ride friendly, smile and wave with all your fingers, regardless of the encounter. Educate your fellow riders on the correct etiquette and we will create a safer relationship with motorists in the Eastern Sierra.

As a local, be a leader.
